About
I’m a founder and software architect building tools that help engineers
understand unfamiliar and AI-generated code. That work draws on twenty-five
years of building software for constrained hardware — from set-top boxes and
automotive infotainment down to bootloaders and DSP chips — across Assembly,
C, C++, Java, C#, Qt/QML, and JavaScript.
I am deeply passionate about learning new things, and about desktop
applications, embedded systems, recently AI-powered workflows, and evolving
with AI. I consider AI is part of human evolution, and will bring a
fundamental shift in many aspects.

2025–now
TURYON Tech Labs, Vijayawada
Founder & Architect
- Built WhatIsNextQuestion.com — a thinking tool that reflects a question back in three directions, to find clarity under confusion.
- Building SyntaxLens — an AI-powered semantic learning platform that teaches a programming language through transfer knowledge: if you know C, it teaches you Rust by mapping the known to the new. The aim is to shorten how long it takes an engineer to move between languages, and to build accurate mental models for judging unfamiliar and AI-generated code.
- Launched on r/rust — Rust ownership explained through the pointers and malloc/free a C developer already knows.
2018–2025
Synamedia (formerly Cisco / NDS), India
Sr. Lead Software Architect
- Created an AI-driven development workflow for Qt/QML — used AI tools to find pitfalls and acceleration points in existing code, then regenerated it entirely through the AI workflow. Built and demonstrated a working prototype to management and the CEO.
- Got UI performance to 50–60fps on constrained hardware: hands-on profiling and root-cause work to find the real bottlenecks, then scenegraph tuning and memory optimisation, delivered with the team.
- Astro (Malaysia) and beIN Sports (Qatar) STB deployments, both live in production — resolved architectural issues, supported teams through hard technical problems, and joined critical customer calls as subject-matter expert.
- Architected enterprise-grade C/C++ and Qt/QML set-top-box UI across multiple platforms and versions.
2012–2018
Cisco (NDS R&D), India
Architect
- Designed and built the initial prototypes of a Brackets-based HTML application designer for the STB UI dev kit (Node.js, JS), then owned its architecture through to a deployable, actively-used tool for building HTML EPGs and set-top-box apps.
- “Tritiya” — a solo experiment in building a pure-CSS 3D UI with no JavaScript, for better performance on constrained hardware. Presented at Cisco DevCon in Monaco; rated 5/5 by the executive panel.
- Built an Android OpenGL 3D renderer to display 3D-TV UI scenes on set-top boxes, plus a Cinema 4D exporter plugin that converted the design team’s scenes to COLLADA for the platform.
2002–2012
LG Soft India, Bangalore
Sr. Technical Lead
- Architected and built the Eclipse workflow plugins for the first LG Smart TV app-platform developer kit, so external developers could create HTML TV apps.
- Architected a C#/.NET building-management system for LG HVAC, integrated with Niagara — a desktop application used by designers and building operators.
- Volkswagen RCD200/300 automotive infotainment: personally coded the CD MP3-player and rotary-encoder drivers, and led the device-driver team. Solved critical app-level power-management issues on-site at the LG factory in Pyeongtaek, South Korea — based there about three and a half years.
- Ported the U-Boot bootloader to the Blackfin processor — solo, end to end.
- Designed and built the memory manager used by the DCMCC MHEG application engine to allocate UI objects as it builds the interface.
- Wrote the execution engine of a JavaScript/ECMAScript implementation, with its security library. (The parser was another engineer’s work.)
2000–2002
DACS Software, Bangalore
Software Engineer
- Built the module that optimised the generated assembly to execute in fewer cycles: loop unrolling and software pipelining tuned to each chipset’s specs (TI C54x/C62x, ZSP).
- Contributed to VML (Virtual Machine Language) — an assembly-to-assembly translator that ports codec code between DSP chipsets, so code written for one chipset runs on another.
1995–2000
Sri Venkateswara University
Tirupati, India
- M.Sc. Computer Science, S.V.U. Campus, Tirupati (1998–2000).
- B.Sc. Computer Science, Priyadarshini Degree College (1995–1998).
Recognition
- 2014Completed the Cisco Technical Leadership Incubation Program
- 2013Outstanding Innovation Award (5/5), DevCon Monaco — for the CSS3D tool “Tritiya”
- 2012Award for contribution to the Mu 3D authoring workflow toolset
- 2011Idea Innovation: TV-friendly user manual for LG Microwave Oven — LG Soft India
- 2010Certificate of Excellence, Technical Innovation in Automotive Systems — LG Soft India
- 2007Special Achievement Citation, full-lifecycle onsite Volkswagen project — LG Soft India
- 2003Technical Excellence Award, Embedded Systems Development — LG Soft India
